M1911 Polish Nickel .45 Government Automatic Blank Firing Pistol
Glenn Rhee’s Blank Firing Nickel Plated .45 Automatic. Glenn got this powerful pistol in season five and commonly wore it in a shoulder holster when he wasn’t actively shooting walkers with it.
This replica made by Bruni in Italy is very realistic and functions like the real thing. The safety, slide release and magazine release all do what they are supposed to do. You load it like the real thing too, inserting the loaded magazine into the bottom of the grip and pulling back the slide. It fires semi-automatically, which means as fast as you can pull the trigger. The fired blank casing is automatically ejected and a new one loaded by the action of the slide each time the trigger is pulled as it does in a real semi-auto pistol. Made of die cast metal with real nickel plating and wooden grip panels.
The pistol fires
standard 8mm blanks from a removable, seven round, magazine. Because of their realism, these blank guns
are ideal for theatrical and television use.
It weighs 2.5 lbs and is full scale, measuring 8.5” long. Unlike our
Gohner cap guns, this is life size and REALLY LOAD! Don’t go shooting it at the walkers on TV or
the neighbors might call the law. The
blanks cost $25 for a box of 50 rounds.
The .45 Automatic was the historic sidearm of the American
soldier for nearly 80 years. This blank firing gun is your chance to experience
a bit of history. The clip removes to load 7 extra loud blanks (8mm). The blued
finish, wood grips, and loud blank firing action give the shooter a realistic
feel. This is an ideal blank gun for theatrical, movie, or reenactment
