WWII US Army Paratroopers Thompson SMG 30Rds Magazine Bag Reproduction
Used by American airborne troops to carry 30 round M1 Thompson and later M3 “grease gun” submachine gun magazines. The strap is removable.
This reproduction is good, but not perfect, and is priced as such. The metal hardware is painted rather than parkerized. In any case, it would be ideal for theatrical, or exhibit display use, or just for kids to enjoy playing WWII soldier with. I wouldn’t guarantee that it would hold up to heavy field use or years of reenacting abuse. It seems to me the fabric weight and thread in the stitching is just slightly lighter weight than the originals.
