Denix Replica 1859 Sharps Military Rifle
Introduced in 1859 this breech loading rifle was prized for it’s accuracy and was used by many Union marksmen during the Civil war. This replica features a hardwood stock, metal construction and a working action. It is made of real wood and cast zinc alloy (Zinc alloy is pretty strong, as zinc is a heavy element and when alloyed with other metals it provides better corrosion resistance, stability, dimensional strength and impact strength. But it is not as strong as stainless steel.)
